You can teach them some life lessons, to be kind and help each other out, and you can teach them outdoors things, survival, what they don’t normally get.” – Group Commissioner of 11th Prince Rupert, Jeroen Gerritsen When Jeroen came to Canada from Holland, it didn’t take long for him to discover the adventures offered by Scouting. Attending Scout meetings with his sons, Jeroen soon became a Scouter and later stepped up to become Group Commissioner.
