Current Projects
Kenya 2012 Project
In 1991 a group of Canadian Youth traveled to Kenya on the 1st Brotherhood project of its kind. The goal was to build a small health centre for a rural community. The clinic now treats 250 people a day and it’s time to return for an upgrade and expansion. If you want to be a part of something amazing and rewarding the application process is now open. The trip takes place over 28 days in August 2012.
Madagascar 2012 Project
In 2008, Scouts Canada made a promise to the village of Ambato Boeni, Madagascar. Together, we would work to dig fresh water wells, build school facilities and provide electricity. In January 2009, a coup d’état and ensuing civil unrest forced Scouts Canada to postpone the project indefinitely. The time has finally come to follow through with our promise.
