Supporting Brotherhood Projects

Although it would be great if everyone had the opportunity to travel to a developing country to assist with a project we recognize that that is not realistic, however you can still help and be part of a project!

Here’s how:

As the International Relations Committee approves various projects they’ll be posted on this site providing a brief description of the project. Individuals or groups can choose to adopt a project and help raise funds that can be directed specifically to that project.

Alternatively donations can be made to the Scouts Canada Brotherhood Fund at any time. These funds will go into the Scouts Canada Brotherhood Fund and will be allocated to projects upon approval of the International Committee. These funds are not allocated for assisting travel or personal costs for participants. Funds are typically applied to material costs and training for the project itself.

We encourage groups to get involved, make contact with groups/members participating in projects and following their blogs and experiences on the Scouts Canada website.

What a great way for a group to help their Scouting Brothers and Sisters around the world!

To make a donation to a project or to the Scouts Canada Brotherhood Fund simply send your cheque (payable to the Scouts Canada Brotherhood Fund) and mail it to: Scouts Canada, 1345 Baseline Rd. Ottawa Ontario K2C 0A7

Please indicate the specific project you would like to support if applicable.

Scouts Canada, the country’s leading youth organization, offers challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in thousands of individual groups in most cities and towns across Canada.
