Commonwealth Scout Forum – United Kingdom, 2012
One spot available - Commonwealth Scout Forum 2012.
At the World Scout Jamboree in Rinkaby, Sweden, Scouts from 22 Commonwealth countries came together to discuss how they could develop Scout partnerships in the Commonwealth in the year of Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. The result of the discussions was a general agreement that a formal Commonwealth Scout event should be held to mark this special occasion.
The Scout Association (UK) has invited Scouts from around the world to come together April 26-30, 2012 at Gilwell Park to participate in a series of events including a:
- Youth Forum
- Tour of London
- Reception at the Commonwealth Secretariat; and
- UK National Scout Parade where Queen Elizabeth II will be taking review of UK Scouts and Scouts from the Commonwealth.
Scouts Canada has one newly vacant participant position that needs to be filled as soon as possible.
To be eligible, candidates must:
- Be 18-25 years of age at the time of the event
- Have completed the Queen's Venturer Award
- Have a valid passport through November 1, 2012
- Be able to travel to the UK April 26-30, 2012; and
- Demonstrate the ability to act as an ambassador for Scouts Canada.
Both Rover Scouts and young Leaders are welcome to submit applications.

Won-Buddism Scout Council – South Korea, 2012
The 4th World Scout Inter-religious Symposium (WSIS), hosted by the Won-Buddhism Scout Council, will be held from August 1-5, 2012 at WonKwang University, Iksan, South Korea.
This event will be organized by the World Scout Inter-religious Forum (WSIF), an informal network of religious groups/organizations in Scouting, and will be jointly hosted by Won-Buddhism Scouts Council (WBSC) and The Korea Scouts Association. The theme of this symposium is "Growing Scouting through Families and Communities".

13th Korea National Jamboree – South Korea, 2012
This event will take place from August 2nd to August 8th, 2012 in Goseong, South Korea, with an opportunity to visit Jeju Island either pre-event (July 31st-August 2nd) or post-event (August 8th-10th) for an additional fee. This event is open to both male and female Scout aged-youth as well as adult volunteers.

Denmark Jamboree – Denmark, 2012
From July 21st to 29th, 2012, 35,000 Danish and international participants from all over the world will gather together in Holstebro in western Denmark at the 2012 Denmark Jamboree.
The Jamboree will be structured like a city comprising of 5 neighbourhoods and a number of housing estates where international guests will live in tents together with a local troop. The Jamboree fee is DKK 1775 (€240) which includes meals and the option of home hospitality, as well as transportation from home hospitality to the Jamboree site; the fee does not include additional travel costs such as airfare.

19th Australian Rover Moot – Australia, 2014
Male and female youth and leaders of Scouts Canada are officially invited to attend the 19th Australian Rover Moot which is to be held in Western Australia from December 30, 2013, to January 10, 2014.
The Moot will include a wide and varied program, and will feature a five-day expedition as well as various services and physical activities including hiking, sailing, surfing, cycling, four wheel driving and scuba diving. It will also include a chance to explore the numerous famous landmarks and beaches in Western Australia. All members between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time of the Moot are eligible to attend as participants; those 26 or over are encouraged to attend as staff.

An Open Invitation to the 2013 Boy Scouts of America National Scout Jamboree
The 2013 Boy Scouts of America National Scout Jamboree will be held from July 15 to 24, 2013. This event will involve some serious high adventure activities including white-water rafting, zip-lining, rappelling, mountain biking, hiking, and more! The Jamboree will be held at the brand new Summit Bechtel Reserve in the wilds of West Virginia.

Scouts Canada is now accepting applications for patrols (eight Scouts, 14 years of age by July 15, 2013, and not yet 21 on July 23, 2013, male and female, with two leaders) and for International Service Team (IST).
To apply as a complete patrol, please send in your application form to intl@scouts.ca.
Any IST, patrols with less than eight Scouts, or lone Scouts interested in attending the Jamboree are asked to email intl@scouts.ca with the following information: Last Name, First Name, Gender, Mailing Address, Postal Code, Country of Residence, Phone Number, Email Address, Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy). Scouts Canada is accepting applications on a first-come, first-served basis and has a limited number of patrols it can send.
The deadline for all Canadian Scouts to register with Scouts Canada has been extended to June 1, 2012.
Norwegian Stavanger – Norway, 2013
From July 6 to13, 2013, Norway will be hosting their Stavanger on the historical grounds at Hafrsfjord. This event, like a jamboree, will take place in the “energy capital” city of Rogaland, which is considered the official county of cuisine! Campers will therefore be provided with delicious meals while they spend the week taking in breath-taking scenery, hiking along the shores and mountains and meeting new friends!

Blair Atholl Jamborette – Scotland, 2012
The 3rd Toronto Scout Group is looking for 4 Scouts who would like to help complete their patrol at the Blair Atholl Jamborette. This Jamborette is Scottish Scouting's premier international event. It brings together over 1,000 Scouts, Venturers and Leaders from all over the world for a 10 day camp in a picturesque corner of highland Perthshire.
The Scottish Scouts and their overseas guests camp in joint patrols on subcamps and live and work together under the watchful eye of the subcamp teams. For this camp, International Troops of youth (aged 13-17 as of July 16, 2012) are paired with Troops of Scottish Scouts. Each site contains 2 patrols of 6. As such, International Groups must travel in Troops of 6.
The 3rd Toronto Scouts has reserved 12 spots (or 2 Troops), but at this point they only have 8 confirmed Scouts attending. As such, they have 4 spots which they must fill for attendance.

Auchengillan International Jamboree – Scotland, 2013
The Auchengillan Jamboree is an international camp which aims to bring young people together from all over the world for a week of fun, friendship and outdoor activities. Members who will be between the ages of 11 and 18 as of August 3rd, 2013 can attend the camp as youth participants, and those over the age of 18 may apply to attend as Group Leaders or are invited to apply for a place on the staff team for the camp.

1st Camporee and 14th Inter-American Jamboree – Colombia, 2013
The Scouts Colombia Association would like to invite International participants to attend their 1st Camporee and 14th Inter-American Scout Jamboree which will be taking place from January 4th to 11th, 2013 in the Parque La Florida, in the city of Bogota, Colombia.
The cost will be $US270 for participants, and $US250 for International Service Team Members (these costs do not include airline fees or other transportation fees). If enough interest is shown, Scouts Canada will put together a Contingent to send to this event next year.

The second Interamerican Moot will be taking place from December 27th, 2013, to January 4th, 2013 in Tramandai, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

11th National Jamboree – Belle Mare, Mauritius, 2012
The Mauritius Scout Association (MSA) is pleased to invite members of Scouts Canada to its 11th National Jamboree, which will be held from November 24th to December 3rd, 2012.
Scouts participants at the jamboree should be aged between 11 and 16 years old, born between December 3rd, 1995 and November 24th, 2001. Each group should have 9 scouts and 1 adult leader and each country is welcome to bring several groups.
The fee for Scouts and leaders is $US 200 and the IST fee is $US 150 (these fees do not include travel costs). For more details, please click here to view the brochure.
