Unveiling of the Scouting Centennial Stamp

On July 25th, Canada Post will issue a domestic rate stamp to celebrate 100 years of Scouting. A booklet of 8 self-adhesive stamps and an official first day cover will commemorate this significant historic milestone.

The stamp features a totem pole-like structure in the foreground, symbolizing Scouts and representing its growth, stability and connection to the natural world. The background features four photos depicting typical Scouting activities.

The stamp will be available at participating post offices, as well as through the web site: www.canadapost.ca/collecting or by calling 1-800-565-4362.

The unveiling of the new stamp will take place at CJ’07 on July 25.
