Welcome to CJ'13, Scouts Canada's 12th Canadian Scout Jamboree!
So you're thinking about the Canadian Jamboree? Well that's great! A week full of fun, friends, and camping await! What more could you want!? But before you consider signing up for what is sure to be the best part of your summer, you must ask yourself, are you ready? Are you ready to travel back in time? To be part of prehistoric adventures? To become an explorer? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the Canadian Scout Jamboree is most certainly for you!
Travel to the four worlds where you will discover exciting activities to challenge you and your Patrol. Be prepared to hike near glaciers, dig for bones, raid the castle, and dive for buried treasure! The challenging and exciting CJ'13 program combines some of the best activities from previous Jamborees, with several new ones that are sure to become favourites.
Join thousands of Scouts at Camp Woods on the shores of Sylvan Lake, Alberta for a week of fun and excitement that you'll never forget. Not to mention all the new friends you'll make! Scouts will be coming from all corners of Canada and the world to experience this once and a lifetime event.
Oh yeah, bring a leader or two with you – they'll have just as much fun as you will!

The challenging and exciting CJ'13 program combines some of the best activities from the past and a bunch of new ones for every participant to enjoy.
Participant Registration Fee:
Before Jan. 31, 2013: $650* per participant (unit youth and Leaders)
*Registration must be received and fees paid in full by Jan. 31, 2013 to qualify for this rate.
After Jan. 31, 2013: $750 per participant (unit youth and Leaders)
Offer of Service (OOS) Registration Fee: $300
Refunds: Full refunds will be issued until January 31, 2013. Participants withdrawing after January 31, 2013 will be assessed a $50 National Jamboree cancellation fee.
Cancellation policies for Council fees vary. Contact your council for more information.
Fee refunds will be made to the Group the unit is affiliated with, addressed in care of the contact Leader.
Registration Fee Covers: food, activities, campsite, and transportation from the airport (Calgary or Edmonton) or Edmonton train station to the Jamboree site and for off-site events.
Additional Costs: Participants are responsible for transportation costs to and from Alberta, additional accommodation (if required) and all camping equipment. Councils may have a small additional fee for the Council Contingents.

CJ'13 Cookbook Now Available: Download the Cookbook »The Canadian Scout Jamboree 2013 (CJ'13) will take place at Camp Woods (Northern Lights Council) on the south shore of Sylvan Lake, Alberta (near Red Deer). The camp is approximately 10 kilometres west of the resort town of Sylvan Lake and strategically placed between Calgary and Edmonton. It is situated in a natural region that offers a wide range of opportunities for recreation and program.
