Be prepared for the experience of a lifetime!

The Canadian Scout Jamboree 2017 will be one fun-filled week of adventure, challenge and friendship. Happening from July 8–15, 2017 at Camp Nedooae in Nova Scotia, CJ’17 is a Jamboree for Scouting aged youth (11-14 years old) from across Canada and around the world.

Camp Nedooae’s diverse landscape of water, land, forest and trails is the perfect location to host thousands of Scouting youth and their Troops. Participating Troops can register for CJ’17 as Patrol Units that consist of up to 8 Scouts and 3 Scouters (minimum 5 Scouts and 2 Scouters). Solo Scout Participants may also register and will be paired up with Patrol Units that have less than 8 members. Program options include five main types of activities that Patrols can participate in: Land Based Programs, Water Programs, Offsite Programs, STEM Activities and Unscheduled Adventures.

St. Andrew’s Plaza is where program activities and events will happen each day during the Jamboree. The Camp will also feature an on-site grocery store and trading post, where you can stock up on food staples for the week or find souvenirs to bring back home.

At CJ’17, Scouts and Scouters will also be celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday with fun events and activities for all. The beach front will act as the Opening Ceremony venue, where all Scouts will welcome in the fun week of events to come.
