The Canadian Scout Jamboree 2017 relies on individual Volunteers signing up as Offers of Service. It is an expectation that all Offers of Service will have the appropriate knowledge and skillset to successfully contribute to the CJ’17 experiences.
Adult Participants, looking to give Offers of Service, must be active registered members of Scouts Canada and have a valid Police Records Check (PRC) and current Vulnerable Sector Check that is on file at the time of CJ’17. Current PRCs that expire before July 16, 2017 must be renewed prior to arriving at the Jamboree. Youth Offers of Service (Ages 14-18) must have completed their FOCUS training and the Child and Youth Safety Training Module on the David Huestis Learning Centre within myscouts.ca.
