Scouts Canada's Creative Marketing Challenge

Got a unique idea that will build awareness of Scouting in your community? Have a creative marketing concept to attract more members?

Then submit your recruitment marketing idea/concept for a chance to receive up to $2000 in matching funds.

How the Creative Marketing Challenge (CMC) works:

  1. Fill out the CMC application form and send it to cmc@scouts.ca or by fax at 613-224-3571.
  2. Submissions will be assessed by a volunteer-led team based on three criteria: (1) Creativity (Describe your Idea in detail. Highlight what makes your Idea unique); (2) Targeted reach to a specific audience; and (3) Cost efficiency.
  3. Marketing concepts will also be posted on this page so that other groups can benefit from great grassroots ideas.

Marketing Idea Budget: Provide a simple budget (1 page maximum) for your idea, outlining the "expense description" and the "estimate or actual cost", along with any "notes" that you feel need to be included. A sample budget is included below:

Submit your budget as a separate document. If you are submitting by email, please attach your budget as an MS Word or Excel file.

And - The first 50 CMC submissions will receive a Scouts camp chair!
