Centennial Cub Jamboree, 2010

Space is limited for this extraordinary event so mark your calendars and start planning to attend the Centennial Cub Jamboree in 2010. Cubs attending the event would be expected to sleep in tents and be accompanied by two leaders for every six Cubs. Meals will be provided – this is a fully catered event.
Cubs are accompanied by their Cub Leaders to each of the exciting Program Areas, filled with stimulating activities based on the Cub Program Goals and the Cub Achievement (Badge) Program. Each evening after dinner Cubs with their accompanying leaders are invited to join in optional activities or a camp wide game. Plan now to be part of the Centennial Cub Jamboree! Bring a Friend - Friendfest
During the months of January, February and March, it’s an opportunity for Scouting youth and leaders to invite their friends to one or two of their meetings.
B.-P.'s Birthday
February 22 is the birthday of both Scouts Canada's founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell, and his wife, Olave, the first World Chief Guide. Scouts and Guides celebrate this date each year as a remembrance of our heritage.
Scout-Guide Week
This week is celebrated annually from the Sunday before B.-P.'s birthday to the Sunday after. Both Scouts Canada and Girl Guides of Canada enjoy celebratory events, in the spirit of camaraderie and friendship between our two Movements.
