Attention all Beaver, Cub and Scout leaders:
Emergency Preparedness Challenge - are you prepared for anything nature throws at you? How about $1500 in Scout Shop Gift Certificates redeemable at any Scout Shop?
We are now accepting entries for the Emergency Preparedness (EP) Challenge. What is the challenge? Quite simply it is an exciting opportunity for us to promote this new program offering from Scouts Canada. If your section has started or completed any portion of the E.P. program we ask that you send your name, and section name along with contact information, to ep@scouts.ca, to be entered in the contest to win one of five draws to be held on April 22, 2009. Sponsored by the Scouts Canada Foundation, lucky winners will receive Scout Shop Gift Certificates. For a quick resource, check out the 40-page insert in the March issue of Scouting Life that includes JUMPSTARTS for Colony, Pack, and Troop in English and French.
Let’s show Canadians how vibrant Scouting is during Emergency Preparedness Week May 3-9, 2009 by showcasing the fact that we are the leaders in EP delivery!!! Join us as we celebrate another feat in Scouting. All winning sections will be profiled in Scouting Life Magazine and on our National Website.
Remember – enter by April 21st at midnight! Draws take place April 22.
Good luck and Good Scouting!!!
