Scouts Innovation - Rules of Engagement
These rules of engagement are designed to allow all users to participate fairly. Disagreements and constructive discussion are welcome as part of the engagement; however, abusive or insulting comments are prohibited.
By choosing to participate on this Web site, you are indicating that you accept these ground rules of participation:
- Be open-minded: Keep a co-operative, open-minded perspective.
- Be innovative and think outside the box: No idea is a bad idea - out in left field is sometimes where the best ideas lie.
- Participate constructively: Participate in a constructive manner; everyone is encouraged to share his or her ideas, comments and ratings.
- Stay on topic: Limit your comments to the topic at hand.
- Be concise: Keep your interventions succinct and to the point.
- Respect others: Consider and respect others' experiences, views and values.
- No personal remarks: Express disagreement with the other comments or ideas, not with the person.
- Official languages: Only comments submitted in French and/or English will be considered and comments will be posted in the official language in which they are submitted.
- Sharing is Encouraged - Copying Ideas is Not: Share your ideas with your network to get them involved by using Twitter, Facebook or Email. Please do not misappropriate ideas from others and post ideas that aren't your own.
All comments and ideas are subject to review by Scouts Canada.
- Duplicate ideas or comments may be removed.
- If a comment or idea is not in line with these rules, we reserves the right to remove a comment or idea at its discretion.
- Scouts Canada also reserves the right to unconditionally use any and/or all ideas and comments on this Web site.
Thank you for participating.
myscouts support
Launched in tandem with myscouts.ca!
As part of the SCOUTING NOW Action Plan, and in order to offer member, volunteer, staff and public support, myscouts support has been realized. It provides a searchable knowledge base, ticketing and tracking system, phone and email support, and represents the focal point of service for Scouts Canada on both technical and program support inquiries.
myscouts support is a collection of services, processes and assets designed to support the membership, volunteers, staff and other stakeholders that is scalable, flexible and manageable over time.
The primary goals and objectives of myscouts support are:
- Investment in members and membership growth through service and support;
- Data gathering – for further understanding of the volume and types of contacts and targeted next steps;
- Technical guidance during the initial launch period and usage of the myscouts.ca system.
Note that myscouts support can be reached at 1-888-726-8876 or at helpcentre@scouts.ca. You can also login to the knowledgebase at https://myscouts.zendesk.com/.
