MyScouts is a unique program that has been customized over the years to Scouts Canada. Over the next 8 days, our IT team in collaboration with our two vendors, assisted by our managed services provider will complete this work. This involves migrating and consolidating from two different off-site servers for our front-end and back-end environments to a new single cloud-based server environment. While this migration promises numerous benefits, it also requires careful planning and execution to minimize disruptions. The 8-day downtime period is necessary for a successful migration. It involves not just the migration and consolidation, but a rigorous amount of testing of our customized programming to ensure functionality.
