The 1st Topsail Howlers have partnered with the Candlelighters of Newfoundland and Labrador to support their cause in helping children and their families dealing with cancer and providing opportunities for the children with cancer, in recovery, or greiving siblings to attend a camp that is uniquely understanding of the needs of cancer patients and survivours. The Howlers chose this organization due to a fellow student in their class who was diagnosed with cancer sharing how she benefitted from the services provided by this organization.
