Call for Volunteers — Key 3 Roles for Strategic Plan initiative

Scouts Canada is looking for motivated volunteers and youth members to fill “Key 3” roles as part of our Strategic Plan initiative.

Each portfolio will form a “Key 3”, a shared leadership model consisting of two volunteers, one of which must be a youth, and a member of Scouts Canada’s staff. Reporting directly to the National Key 3, these teams will be co-equal decision makers who will be collectively responsible for different pillars of the Strategic Plan and Scouts Canada’s operations.Each will be tasked with recruiting a team of volunteers and youth to work with existing staff and volunteers to accomplish the priorities in the 2021 Strategic Plan.

Property Support Scouter

Working cooperatively with the Property Operations team and individual Property Committees and volunteers, the Property Support Scouter is a trusted volunteer and partner responsible for the successful execution of Scouts Canada’s strategic priorities. The ultimate objective of the role is to better support the safety, compliance, financial viability and overall customer experience at Scouts Canada’s properties.

The Property Support Scouter provides direct support to properties to ensure that they are 100% compliant, following all standard operating policies and procedures and are fiscally responsible and financially viable.
