Your one-stop source for everything about the Canadian Contingent for World Scout Jamboree 2019 is this website.
Here you will find out how to register to become:
- a youth participant (senior Scout or Venturer)
- an adult participant (Scouter) participant
- an adult volunteer (International Service Team (IST) member)
Registration for the upcoming World Jamboree at the Bechtel Summit Reserve in West Virginia is a huge success, and it is shaping up to be one of the largest World Scout Jamborees ever! The Canadian Contingent is already the largest we have sent to a World Jamboree since the last one held in Canada in 1983.
In fact, registration has been so successful the WJ'19 Hosting Committee already has waiting lists. To accommodate this, the Canadian Contingent is adjusting the open period for Participant registration. The Contingent Management Team can only guarantee a spot with the Contingent for those who register on or before June 30. We will continue to allow registration past July 1, on a waitlist basis, up until December 31, 2018.
Once every four years the Scouting youth of the world come together and celebrate what it means to be a Scout! This once-in-a-lifetime experience brings the entire world to your fingertips, where all Scouts can freely and enthusiastically share their cultures with one another in the spirit of the Scout Law. Each and every Scout has but one opportunity to attend a World Jamboree as a Participant.
More than 50,000 Scouting participants from over 150 countries will gather together for WSJ 2019 – join them and represent Canada on the world stage!
