Camp Director — Camp Opemikon

Want to change the world? At Scouts Canada our Vision is “Canadian youth making a meaningful contribution to creating a better world.” We need passionate people who share our Mission to develop well rounded youth better prepared for success in the world.

For more than 100 years, Scouts Canada has brought a world of adventure, outdoor experience, friendship and fun to 17 million Canadian youth. We have reinvigorated our program to meet the changing demands of youth and are searching for a recent graduate who is looking to begin an exciting career in the Non-Profit sector to help us develop well-rounded youth better prepared for success in the world.

Since 1938, Camp Opemikon has served the camping needs of more than half a million members of the Scouting family.  The camp is owned and operated by Scouts Canada, Voyageur Council, and is one of the finest residential Scout camps in Canada! Campers from other parts of Canada and around the world are welcome. The summer camp is based on Scouts Canada’s Canadian Path, and all programs offer youth fun-filled unique new experiences and adventures that help them develop into confident and capable individuals who are better prepared for success in the world. Youth take the lead in selecting their activities, organizing how to do them and reflecting on their experience. Along the way, they develop camping skills and complete some requirements of the Outdoor Adventure Skills Program.
