GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Campground Coordinator is responsible for all administrative duties related to campground operations including but not limited to: reservations management, check-in & check-out procedures, and general customer service. Detailed recording and documentation of contact tracing, program sign-up systems, and capacity tracking is a crucial component of the Campground Coordinator’s daily routines. This position is primarily based out of the Camp Office and will also oversee Camp Store and Tuck Shop sales.
The Campground Coordinator is a designated supervisor on-site and serves as the first and main point of contact for all guests during work hours. A strong commitment to the prescribed duties is imperative to successful campground operations.
This position will be rewarded with a beautiful natural work environment and plenty of fresh air this summer. A portion of the Campground Coordinators duties will take place outdoors and require one to adapt to conditions (sun, heat, bugs, rain, and cold).
Due to the risks associated with COVID-19, we are asking that all program and campground staff (other than Maintenance) commit to staying on-site for the entirety of their contract this season; forming and maintaining a “staff bubble” and reducing the risk of transmission due to external close contacts. Staff will be housed in Tabins or Cabin accommodations and a Camp Cook will be employed to provide hearty, healthy meals for the staff team.
