GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Program Coordinator is responsible for the management of all camp program activities and events for adults and youth. With the common goal of enhancing the camping experience for all, this role will support a team of 7 program staff, thus, the successful candidate must posses strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven organizational abilities. The Program Coordinator is a designated supervisor on-site, a strong commitment to the prescribed duties is imperative to successful program operations.
This is a forward-facing supervisory role and requires the individual to interact on the frontline of customer service, always willing and ready to address questions or concerns. Guest feedback will be monitored regularly in-person and through automated surveys. The Program Coordinator will be required to assess these results and adjust programmming as necessary according to successes, challenges, and feedback.
The Program Coordinator will be rewarded with a beautiful natural work environment and plenty of fresh air this summer. All programming takes place outdoors and therefore requires employees to be comfortable adapting to the elements (heat, sun, bugs, rain, cold).
Due to the risks associated with COVID-19, we are asking that all program and campground staff (other than Maintenance) commit to staying on-site for the entirety of their contract this season; forming and maintaining a “staff bubble” and reducing the risk of transmission due to outside close contacts. Staff will be housed in Tabins or Cabin accommodations and a Camp Cook will be employed to provide hearty, healthy meals for the staff team.
