Program Coordinator — Program Design Team (Summer)

For more than 100 years, Scouts Canada has brought a world of adventure, outdoor experience, friendship and fun to 17 million Canadian youth. We have reinvigorated our program to meet the changing demands of youth and are searching for a recent graduate who is looking to begin an exciting career in the Non-Profit sector to help us develop well-rounded youth better prepared for success in the world.

Reporting directly to the Kelly Logan and will be working on our Scouts for Sustainability Program.

General Responsibilities

  • Build activities for our Scouts for Sustainability Program
  • Develop text for the infographics
  • Develop activities for our Activity Finder
  • Work on Program related documents
  • Review of current documents
  • Develop resources to support our Fall into Adventure Challenge

Qualifications

  • Have a good knowledge of the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals
  • Have a good understanding of the Scout Program.
  • Must have good writing skills
  • Can work independently
  • Have good time management skills
  • Be prepared to accept feedback and incorporate it into your work
  • Must be able to think creatively
