Revenue Development Assistant — Seasonal Position

We have reinvigorated our program to meet the changing demands of youth and are searching for a recent graduate who is looking to begin an exciting career in the Non-Profit sector to help us develop well-rounded youth better prepared for success in the world.

Reporting directly to the Director, Revenue Development your primary focus will be on report drafting, including data analysis, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative research.

Your role will support the improvement of fundraising initiatives for two key timeframes: Short term: 2021-2022 and Long Term: 2021-2026.

Responsibilities:

100% Research and Data gathering

  • Research, survey, and gather data to support campaign improvements and analysis.
  • Conduct focus groups; and surveys to support reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Development team, staff and volunteers to design and deliver analytic reports that will support data-driven decision-making.
  • Work in collaboration with Revenue Development Coordinator on data collection.
  • Develop weekly updates to present to Revenue Development Team.
  • Other duties as required. 

What you bring to the table:

  • Excellent communication, including ability to draft compelling and persuasive correspondence to key stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys talking to people and is sincere.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
  • A natural self-starter interested in new ideas and demonstrating originality and innovation in approach.
  • Strong team player with demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • High School Graduate.
  • Currently enrolled in post-secondary education or are looking to re-enter into post-secondary.
  • Minimum 2 years+ of work experience; equivalencies will be evaluated.
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
