CEC is piloting a new service team called the Onboarding Team. Led by Jennifer Levitt Birdsall, this team will support GC's and Registrars by helping new volunteers get through the screening process. This does not replace anything you are doing at the Group level, those activities must continue. This team will supplement what you are doing and help get volunteers into their roles faster.
Some of the team's tasks:
- Welcome new Scouters and by sending communication about the new Scouter Volunteer Process
- Organize Virtual or In-Person Events for the new Scouters
- Help Coach and Mentor a new Scouter who is having issues and would like to have one on one support
- Help Coach and Mentor the Group members on the Volunteer Process
We thank the amazing volunteers who have stepped forward to help on our Onboarding Team:
