The CEC Key 3 are excited to welcome Hilary Bison and Steve Zamin both to the role of CEC Scouting Relationship Manager. As we transition groups please look out for a welcome meeting with Hilary or Steve coming to your inbox soon. The following is a little introduction from our new SRM's.
Hilary Bisson
I am a graduate of the Public Relations program at Niagara College. During my time there I was fortunate enough to be involved with some great organizations such as Women’s Place in St. Catharines. I have also been involved with the Boy’s and Girl’s club during my youth. These experiences were a great introduction into non profit.
After my graduation I began working in the corporate sector. I have enjoyed building relationships with some of our Nations top Universities and Athletics Associations. This has allowed me to be involved in planning and launching high level events and programs. My goal is to bring the same passion and drive to Scouts Canada!
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting outside and eating great food!
After watching my nephews enjoy scouting for many years, I’m so excited for this opportunity to join the team and get involved!
Steve Zamin currently resides in Owen Sound although he was born and raised in Guelph Ontario. He is the father of two almost adult aged kids although he wouldn’t admit to adulthood himself. Steve spent a life in marketing as a sign maker for a couple decades, but also had careers in sales and manufacturing. Through all of that he also has been a Scout Leader and Member of his Group Committee. Both his kids went through the Scouting program as well, as did Steve himself. His free time is spent artistically; drawing, cartooning, painting, writing and doing anything to flex his creative side, including a life in the theatre Steve is EXTREMELY excited to join Scouts Canada, and he says he can’t wait to meet everyone of you.
