Group Support Scouter
As a member of the Council team, the Group Support Scouter is a team member who acts as a resource, and Group support for local Scout Groups, keeping in line with Scouts Canada’s strategic priorities.
The Group Support Scouter works directly with Group Commissioners (GC) and their Group Committee. The ultimate objective of the role is providing opportunities for all youth to participate in our organization. Scouts Canada’s Mission: to help develop well-rounded youth better prepared for success in the world.
The Group Support Scouter provides direct support to Groups, develops relationships within the Scouting network to guide and coach groups to reach their goals and maximum potential.
Group Support Scouters offer high-quality Group support and work towards positively impacting our Mission through membership growth. Support will be provided to Groups through multiple channels, including telephone, in-person meetings, e-mail, and video conferencing.
