Jamie McMillan is currently a Scouter with the 1st Crestview Scout Group. She is a Registered Nurse and a Mom of 2.
Tim Muehling is currently a Scouter with the 1st John De Graff Scout Group. He is a Production Manager and a Dad of 3.
Manitoba Council is proud to be offering First Aid Training to Manitoba Scouters and Youth. As part of our Train-the-Trainer Program that we implemented, we have arranged to have 4 Manitoba Scouters trained as First Aid Instructors, with St. John Ambulance, who are now able to offer First Aid Training for a fraction of the cost!
The Certified Courses meet provincial regulations for Scouts Canada.
STANDARD FIRST AID / INTERMEDIATE FIRST AID (CERTIFICATE)
The Standard First Aid / Intermediate First Aid Course (16 Hours) covers topics such as:
BASIC FIRST AID / EMERGENCY FIRST AID (CERTIFICATE)
The Basic First Aid / Emergency First Aid Course (8 Hours) covers topics such as:
RECERTIFICATION (CERTIFICATE)
Basic First Aid / Emergency First Aid & Standard First Aid / Intermediate First Aid (8 hours)
REQUIREMENTS:
BASIC FIRST AID / EMERGENCY FIRST AID (UNCERTIFIED)
We will work with you to customize a Basic First Aid / Emergency First Aid Course for your Cubs and/or Scouts. This Course is a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 6 hours. It is important that you note that youth will NOT recieve a Certificate for this course but will still be trained by our Certified First Aid Instructors.
