We are very excited to be holding our NL Kub Kar Rally this year. Pre-registration details will be sent out in the next few weeks! Kub Kars kits can be purchased via scoutshop.ca and we recommend that if Sections are interested in participating that they get their orders placed online as soon as possible because they may sell out. All Cubs who participate in the rally will receive a Kub Kar Badge, and there will be trophies presented for 1st , 2nd and 3rd place Kars.
Items to Note:
Date: April 27th, 2024
Location: Paradise Community Centre (Gymnasium)
Time: 9:00 am until races finish up which is normally around 2:30 pm
Lunch: There will be a break for lunch during the day, 1st Paradise Scouts Group will be operating a canteen on the day of the races (cash only).
It is recommended that Sections work with their Cubs on their Kub Kars and ensure that youth and parents understand how the races are run and have their Kars prepared and weighted for the day of the races. Please see the information sheet attached for the rules and regulations for the Kub Kar Rally.
We will be looking for youth volunteers from Scout Troop, Ventures and Rovers and any Scouters that are available to help with the event. If you or your section are interested in volunteering please contact Darcy Hillier @ darcyhillier77@hotmail.com
