  • Program Offerings
  • Sunken Lake Scout Camp has been welcoming scouting groups since 1920, making it one of the longest-running camps in the province.  Drive-in access to the camp is by a right of way road.  It is not plowed during the winter, so groups may have to pack their gear in (400m walk).  The camp has a lodge with a kitchen and eating / activity area.  The kitchen has a propane stove (4 elements + oven), sink with drinking water, 2 fridges, cooking and eating utensils, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave.  The lodge has a wood stove insert that provides some heat.  Firewood is provided.  There is an outdoor firepit. Drinking water is UV treated lake water, tested every 3 months.  Water is turned on from mid April until the end of October.  Outside these times, you are responsible for bringing your own drinking water.  Each of the four cabins sleeps 8 in bunks.  Campers are responsible for bringing their own sleeping pads.  There is ample room to set up tents, including a field outside the lodge.  The camp has 7 canoes and one sit-on kayak.  We have life jackets and throw ropes for the canoes.
