Cubs, Scouts and Vents! Come out and enjoy a day at the races!
Cubs and Scouts and Ventures are invited to come out and race their Kars, Trucks and Boats with other groups in the North Okanagan. All youth are welcome, (not only first 3 placeholders in Group Races).
First Baptist Church has offered their space to us for no charge and the only thing they ask is that we don’t wear outdoor shoes inside. Please have your youth and all attending bring a clean pair of indoor shoes or be prepared to be shoeless.
Arrive at 8:30am for a 9-10am weigh in - any late arrivals will be able to enter show, but not race. Once the racing begins, we cannot add any new racers to the schedule. Please make sure the youth are aware of this so there are no disappointments. We will wrap up by approximately 2pm.
Please download this PDF registration form and email it to Doug Kitching (kitchified@gmail.com). Please have the registration forms returned by April 6 so we can pre-enter the information into the system to save time on race day. Late registrations will be allowed but may take extra time that morning.
Each Section of each Group attending is asked to pay $70.
A concession for lunch will be available. We are planning on providing hot dogs and chilli dogs as well as cold drinks and snacks. All proceeds will be going towards youth in BX and 6th Vernon attending PJ 2024 Jamboree this summer from July 6 to 13th.
We are grateful for our sponsors who help make this event happen! For a donation of $40.00 (Kar) or $60.00 (Truck), you can join the fun and support our local youth.
Your donation includes a Kub Kar or Scout Truck kit which is customizable. Build, decorate and race your Kar or Truck… or request that a Cub Scout or Scout youth do it on your behalf. Your business will receive appropriate recognition at this event.
If you are able to sponsor this event, please download this PDF sponsorship form and email it to Doug Kitching (kitchified@gmail.com). If requested, Scouts Canada will provide a tax receipt for your $40.00 or $60.00 donation.
