NiteHike
April 1st to 2nd
NiteHike is a great all night adventure which allows Cubs & Scouts (and energetic Beavers) to complete a series of fun and challenging Activity Stations throughout Pacific Spirit Park (Vancouver Point Grey). Groups start off on the hike between 6pm to 8pm and have fun along the way at the approximate two dozen stations that host games and challenges. The basic goal is to try to complete the entire NiteHike circuit while the more competitive groups also try to achieve high challenge scores at each of the stations in the shortest amount of time. Of course many groups simply like to take a slower pace, and enjoy the fun activities at each station and see just how long they can last into the night before heading home. Many groups do complete the entire circuit finishing by 6:00am the next morning.
The Activity Stations are created and run by Ventures and Rovers. Any Venturers or Rovers interested in running a station must plan and register their station on the website no later than March 10th (note: if you ran a station last year, the deadline to re-register is February 24th to keep your same station location).
