The Cold Talk is a two-hour session on clothing and personal camping equipment to help prepare you Be Prepared for winter camping. Scouter Dave Nicolson facilitates a conversation and demonstrates types of gear that will enable you to get out and about with greater confidence and comfort to events like snow camps on Mount Washington and RoVent in Manning Park. Topics of the session include clothing, sleeping systems, food, and mechanisms to enable youth to participate. We also review signs, symptoms and treatment of cold ailments.

The session is intended for all Scouts, Venturers, Rovers and Scouters.
