Welcome to the official page of the Pacific Coast Council top section awards!
In Scouts Canada, each section (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Venturers, Rovers) have a top section award that go along with them. Top section awards are made for youth in their final years of scouting to pursue as a project to connect with their community and gain scouting skills all at the same time. For the younger generations, these are known as the North Star Award and the Seasonee Award and for older sections they are known as the Chief Scouts Award (CSA), Kings Venturer Award (KVA), and Canadian Rover Scout Award (CRSA). As we get into the older sections, the requirements for the award become increasingly difficult. For these reasons, the Pacific Coast Council likes to acknowledge the immense amount of effort put into the awards through an award ceremony.
We are accepting applications for either award at this time. If you are a scout leader who has been assisting youth in completing their top section awards, you may have remembered that the application form was a paper copy. This year, the PCC is making the transition to on online registration form for youth to sign up to attend the event.
