The Christmas magic for Santa’s sleigh has gone missing! Rumour has it, the Grinch might be involved! When Santa tried to fix it with his elves, they just made matters worse - they broke the North Pole teleporter. Oh, the tragedy! Mrs. Clause has seen that Santa is losing hope in the Christmas Spirit and asked us to call on YOU! She has heard of your achievements. For example, some of you helped solve the case of the Missing Scouter last year!
So, will you come and SAVE CHRISTMAS?

INVESTIGATOR GATHERING DATES:
Monday, November 28 - Friday December 2nd: start times from 4:40pm to 7:40pm
Saturday December 3rd & Sunday, December 4th: start times from 3-7pm
We invite you to book teams of friends and/or family (ideally 3-6 on a team) to go through the escape yard at 20-minute intervals. The challenge has been designed for 8 - 106-year-olds! We are aiming for the experience to take each team approximately one hour as they move through 4 separate problem-solving spaces. Never done an escape room before? Expect to try magnetic mazes, puzzles, riddles, and search for clues. Open locks, explore Santa's workshop, traverse an ice flow, and much much more!
TELEPORTER LOCATION:
4690 Blenheim St. (In the Dunbar area, at the corner of West 31st and Blenheim)
Entrance to the event is off the back alley and groups can gather in Balalcava Park, which also contains washroom facilities.
DONATIONS:
Entrance is by donation either on-site or by sending an e-transfer to jamboree@dunbar25scouts.org. The 25th Dunbar Scouts are raising funds for a planned trip to the World Jamboree in South Korea in the summer of 2023 and the Pacific Jamboree in Sooke in 2024. We thank you for your support!

Curious how we will accommodate a range of age groups? We will have hints available (with a slight time penalty) for those who are stuck and extra bonus puzzles to solve for the super speedy! Is your group a little competitive? You will be able to check out the online leaderboard for each section! Bragging rights are at stake!
We hope you will appreciate the attached posters created by some of our Scouts to promote the event. This is just one indication of the work our youth are putting into this event. We learned a lot from last year’s successful Halloween event and have more props and builds this time around.
