Campaigns & Fundraising: Help Kids go to Camp

Each year, thousands of youth from across Canada experience the joys of summer camp, but not every family can afford the registration fees. In order to ensure every kid can attend a summer camp, Scouts Canada created the Help Kids Go to Camp campaign—a campaign that raises funds that support low-income kids and their families.

All kids—in Scouting and outside of Scouting—and their families can apply to attend one of Scouts Canada’s summer camps. Funds raised directly support kids from across Canada to give them the chance to experience a summer of adventures, friendships and fun.

Most of our camp properties and activities have been shut down since spring 2020 due to the current situation. We are very hopeful to have all of our camps fully running for the next summer season in 2022.

Scouts Canada wants every kid to experience camp this summer and is calling on all Canadians to give to the Help Kids Go to Camp campaign.

Help us Reach Our Goal!

Every year Scouts Canada is looking to raise $150,000 to allow more youth than ever to participate in summer camping. By reaching our campaign goal, we would be able to send over 100 underprivileged kids to summer camp this year.

“Camp has given me a lot of amazing life experiences, and taught me how to be independent and to be more outgoing. Some of my best friends are still people that I met at camp.”
