See you all next year - when it's thyme to start planting again!

The Scout Seeds fundraising campaign runs every year from Feb.1 to March 31 2022, with all sales done online through our Scout Seeds Shopify website. This year, we will be partnering again with our 100% Canadian supplier Make It Sow to offer an excellent variety of seed kits, allowing customers to have fun learning more about growing their own garden all the while supporting Local Scout Groups and helping our planet!

Groups will receive 40% of the retail price as profit and more than 5% will be allocated to the No One Left Behind (NOLB) program.

In 2021, over
$217,000 raised
to support local Scout groups.

Group profits totaled $69,606 compared to $20,232 in 2021.  That is a 242% increase!

Every year, Scouts Canada’s fundraising campaigns help support Groups in their Scouting adventures and provide funds for the No One Left Behind campaign which aims to remove economic barriers for youth and families wishing to participate in Scouting. Every young person deserves to experience the world of fun, friendship and self-development Scouting offers. The Scout Seeds fundraiser allows Scouting Groups to enhance their programming to help develop youth into well-rounded, more resilient individuals.

In 2020, Scouts Canada adopted the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a part of their Scouts for Sustainability program.

Scout Seeds directly impacts the following SDGs: #3 Good Health and Well-Being, SDG Goal #11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG Goal #12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
