Current Opportunities to Support

Scouts for Sustainability

Scouts Canada is engaging our members in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. Following an international movement of Scouts working on sustainable development, we at Scouts Canada are tying the SDGs into both existing and future bilingual program materials and educational resources. In this way, we hope to encourage over 50,000 youth and 22,000 adult volunteers nationwide to take further action for a brighter future. Learn how you can help support this program over the next few years.

STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programming

STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math – programming allows youth to ignite their curiosity and explore a world of learning, hypothesis and discovery. Through Scouts Canada STEM resources, our volunteers engage youth members in experiential STEM activities. With your support, you can help Scouts Canada build upon its STEM program to deliver more resources, tools, programming and opportunities that will allow more youth to explore STEM as a viable career – or fun adventure!

Camp Improvements: Registration Software – Naming Rights

Connect with families, volunteers and external parties by supporting Scouts Canada’s camp registration software. With over 100,000 annual registrations, you can directly connect with parents registering their youth for summer camp, or with Scout Groups that are participating in outdoor adventures. Your support will enable Scouts Canada to provide its members and guests with a positive user experience – helping more kids attend camp.

Pathways to Your Future

The Pathways to Your Future program aims to provide youth aged 14-26 with the skills they need for career and academic success. Whether pursuing a post-secondary education or joining the workforce, Pathways to Your Future offers participants valuable training, work experience, mentorship and career coaching.

Scouts for Leading Futures

Scouts for Leading Futures (SFLF) provides at-risk youth with the opportunity and resources to become confident and capable individuals, better prepared for career and life success. Through a tailored program, at-risk youth are provided with a supportive, experiential learning environment, where they can discover new activities, gain leadership skills and develop lasting friendships within their community.

SFLF recruits youth under the age of 30 to volunteer as facilitators to gain tangible real-life skills to further their professional development and community engagement. In addition, youth participants aged 15–26 years receive career coaching to help assess their strengths, competencies and interests to create education and career plans.

With your support, we can bring this new Scouting program to life and help support at-risk youth across Canada.
