Gift in Kind

To inquire about making a Gift in Kind donation, please submit your information on this form.

Scouts Canada accepts gift-in-kind* donations on a case-by-case basis.
Items must be assessed for the fair market value of the gift with corresponding documentation and/or invoice and submitted to Scouts Canada’s Philanthropy & Partnerships department for review.

Official donation receipts are available for items above $500 in value.

*Gifts in kind, also known as non-cash gifts, are gifts of property. They cover items such as gift certificates and gift cards (in certain circumstances), artwork, equipment, securities, and cultural and ecological property. (Canadian Revenue Agency Glossary)

Securities

If you have publicly traded securities such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, you can gift them to Scouts Canada. To inquire about donating securities, please connect with us at give@scouts.ca.
