With over 500+ properties in Scouts Canada’s portfolio and more than 200 of them open and active prior to Covid-19, ensuring these properties are safe, compliant, financially viable and successful is no small feat.
The launch of the new Property Operations Team will ensure that each active property will provide all Scouts and Scouters with the quality outdoor activity experience they’ve come to expect. The team will be compromised of both Property Operations (staff) and a network of volunteers, including Property Support Scouters and Property Committees.
Working together, this team will support properties across the country; creating alignment and consistent processes, and improving the overall engagement and experiences for all members.
