A pair of hardworking local volunteers have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to local scouting.
The work of the husband-and-wife team of Mike and Brooke Bax was acknowledged in early September as 1st Ailsa Craig Scout Group commissioner Brian Luscombe awarded Mike with the Medal of Merit for exceptional service and Brooke with the Bar to the Award of Good Service.
