I found a post asking citizens to send Christmas messages to military overseas. We talked about the different jobs that Canadian peacekeepers and military personnel do for us in Canada and around the world and where they are posted. We discussed the time sacrifices that they and their families make for us. We discussed the longest time each youth had been away from their parents. We wrote message in Christmas cards acknowledging and thanking the members for their service.
