Friends in Scouting,
We would like to extend our best wishes to you and your families for a festive and joyful holiday season. 2018 saw youth and volunteers discover new things and challenge themselves to do their best.
Scouts and Scouters experienced countless Scouting ‘firsts’ on The Canadian Path, through their adventures at home and abroad. In every section, at every age, youth developed the skills, values and character that will guide them through every future adventure, and every stage of life.
Scouters facilitated a quality program that met the needs and aspirations of today’s youth and their parents. Through our volunteers’ efforts, youth across Canada had the opportunity to grow, to challenge themselves, and to experience incredible adventures that they would only find in Scouting.
As engaged citizens and active members of their community, Scouting youth made meaningful contributions to creating a better world. From food and clothing drives to park cleanups and maintenance, youth helped over 2,000 Canadian communities.
As we enter 2019, we look forward to working together to provide even more youth with the opportunity to benefit from Scouting through incredible outdoor adventures.
Thank you for your dedication, commitment and passion to developing well-rounded youth, better prepared for success in the world.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.
Yours in Scouting,
