Share your best Scouting tips!
As a Scouting member, you’re no stranger to adventure—especially when it comes to planning activities. On your own or with your Section, share your advice on how to make summer activities more adventurous, better planned, safe and of course—fun!
Record a video with your favourite Scouting tips, best practices or lessons learned for a chance to win one of four Scout Shop adventure kits, some valued at up to $1,000! Submit your video to Scouts Canada’s How to Adventure video contest for a chance to win some great new gear for your next Scouting adventure.
With the Pacific Jamboree underway and the World Scouting Jamboree coming up, there will be no shortage of video ideas if your Section is taking part!
Here’s what we’re after:
- Short (3 minutes or less) video of the innovative ways you and/or your Section make summer Scouting adventures awesome. Your video can explore any of the following:
- How your Section puts safety into play for each adventure.
- How your Section leaves the places it visits better than how you find them (think Leave No Trace principles).
- Your favourite place to enjoy on your summer adventures and tips on planning each visit.
- Your favourite summer activity and best practices on how to make the most of it.
- Submit your video by August 19, 2019 at 11:59 ET. Here are a few ways you can do this:
- Post your video on social media and tag @scoutscanada.
