Two groups of volunteers are working to make sure we design our new strategy well. One has experience from all the different types of people involved in Scouts Canada, and one is focused on giving young people more power in the process.
Two groups of volunteers are working to make sure we design our new strategy well. One has experience from all the different types of people involved in Scouts Canada, and one is focused on giving young people more power in the process.
The committee will make sure young people actively help create our new strategy, so it is Youth Shaped and Youth Endorsed. They’ll find ways to collect great ideas from young people and tell the Board about their findings. They will also have the chance to review the strategic plan and say if it reflects the needs of young people.

The committee will keep our process on track. They’ll make sure young people, volunteers, staff, parents, and external stakeholders are properly involved and that we base our conclusions on their feedback. They will also help us spot any new risks or opportunities that come up.
