Transforming Digital Infrastructure

Purpose: Ensuring that the tools we provide are reliable, easy to use, and consistently available to meet your needs now and in the future.

What we'll accomplish: Streamlined digital governance practices and robust, scalable technical architecture.

.

We are currently in the planning and discovery phase of this project, working to:

  • Onboard Resources to Strengthen Our Current Infrastructure

We’re bringing in experts to help improve our digital infrastructure. This work will ensure that the tools we rely on today—and in the future—run smoothly and securely. By strengthening our systems, we’re making them more reliable and better prepared to meet future needs. This means we’ll be able to provide better support and ensure our tools are always ready when you need them.

  • Audit Our Digital Governance Practices

We’re taking a close look at how we currently manage our digital practices to see where we can make things more efficient and effective. This includes checking how we handle data, privacy, and security. The goal is to simplify our processes while still ensuring we follow best practices and rules. By improving how we manage everything, we’ll be able to give you even better support and ensure that everything is safe, secure, and easy to navigate.

Through these efforts, we’re building a strong foundation of governance and digital infrastructure to support Scouts Canada’s growth for youth, volunteers, and staff.

  • Transformation Begins!
Once we’ve brought in the right resources, they’ll get to work planning and making improvements. Check back for updates this spring.
