April 22 – 10 am-4 pm Earth Day at Camp Samac(Details to be deterimined) For all sections (Sections or Families on their own can attend); Cost: $5  Enjoy a day of nature at Camp Samac. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle & Compost. Enjoy relays, scavenger hunts, planting flowers, see the trout run, cast a fishing line, plant trees, help build a compost station and much more.  BBQ lunch is available for $3/hot dog or sausage & a donation for a drink.  Camp Samac, 275 Conlin Rd E, Oshawa. Contact: Debby Corneal at debby.whitbyarea@gmail.com

April 22 - Colony Workshop at St. Marks Church, Whitby.  (Details to be deterimined) 11am - 4pm  Contact: Anita Simmons Please bring your own lunch/snack, coffee and tea provided. Topics covered include: • Learning the Map • Outdoor Adventure Skills • Youth Led Programming • Personal Achievement Badges • Planning • Ceremonies

April 29 – North Star Adventure at Camp Samac – For Beavers (White Tails only); Formerly known as the White Tail Slap, 3rd year Beavers, get ready for a day of adventure. The day includes 8 activities, pizza lunch, crafts, a crest and certificate. Camp Samac - Council Hall, 275 Conlin Rd E, Oshawa. 9:30am (Check In) to 3:00pm (Closing)

Sep 23 - Doors Open Oshawa - Guided tours, learn about the scouting tradition and Camp Samac's history. -City wide event to provide access to dozens of facilities - Camp Samac 10 am - 4 pm
