Interested in civic engagement? Curious about how the government works? Join Alexander (AJ) Mendes, CYC Pacific Coast Council along with Heather McCracken, Council Commissioner (Chinook) on March 1st at 7PM EST as they host the second session of the Scouts Canada Senate Series event. Senators participating in this session include Senator David Wells of Newfoundland and Labrador, Senator Mobina Jaffer of British Columbia and Senator Terry Mercer.
This event will focus on Youth Leadership, a pertinent subject in Scouting. This session will allow youth to engage Senators on how young leaders can contribute to society, make an impact in their communities and develop leadership skills along the way. Through this, youth will have the opportunity to submit questions about anything with regards to Youth Leadership.
As featured Senators will be sharing their personal views in each interview, their opinions will express their own perspectives and are not representative of the Senate of Canada.
