Visitors can expect some protection from the wind and added greenery at the Uxbridge Off-leash Dog Park thanks to the 1st Uxbridge Scouts.
The Scouts partnered with the township, Uxbridge Nurseries and UTS Tree Care to plant six new trees along the northwest corner of the park to act as a wind block.
“These should help with winter winds,” said Coun. Todd Snooks, calling the planting a win-win for the community.
