I am in Gr11 at our local Catholic high school. I participated in letting others know about the event, collecting winter y (hats, scarves, mitts, etc) and food, counting items, assembling it for distribution to St Vincent de Paul and their food bank, locally. We have done one clothing drive and one food drive in dec 2021, with another food drive upcoming. I was the person in the class to collect and bring in the most both times. We also focussed time in class and in Mass to discuss poverty and hunger in the world and our responsibility as global citizens and Christians to help alleviate it.
