Imagine a world with clean bodies of water. Make waves in your community by doing a pond dip, organizing a shoreline cleanup or learning to scuba dive.
Protect our oceans, seas and marine resources and make sure we are using them in ways that do not harm them.
Are you ready to take the plunge?
Over 70% of our planet is covered in water. We depend on oceans, rivers and lakes every day for transportation, food, and enjoyment. We know very little about what lies below the oceans, but they are very important for regulating the planet’s temperature; however, they are suffering from overfishing and plastic pollution. In Canada, we are working to protect more of our coastal and marine areas, learn more about the creatures below, and prevent the overfishing of seafood.
