Paula Daley
Parent, Scouter and NOLB Recipient
Access to [No One Left Behind] meant that our son could continue to be involved in Scouts with his friends. He is extremely passionate about his involvement in the program, and we couldn’t take that away from him.

Scouting is woven into the fabric of our life. Scouting is an enriching environment which provides a solid foundation for the development of open-minded, well-rounded, successful young adults.

Scouting is for everyone. Regardless of gender, abilities, race, background, belief structures or any other differences, there is a place for all in Scouting. Wherever a child’s interests may lead them, there are program elements to fit everyone.
When you take any young person, especially those with disabilities, out hiking or camping, it gives them a chance to open up and be themselves. It gives them the confidence and the willingness to try new things.
